Who we Are
Tanya’s Angels is a nonprofit organization born out of a deep passion for helping children in Tanzania, inspired by a personal journey of resilience, love, and connection. Founded by Tanya, a mother of four with a heart for animals and children, the organization began after a life-changing trip to Tanzania, where she climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and connected with a local orphanage that left an indelible mark on her soul.
Our Story
In 2022, Tanya set off on an adventure to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, a journey that was both physically and emotionally challenging. Carrying the ashes of her father, who had passed away, she was determined to reach the summit not only to fulfill a personal dream but also to honor his memory. But it wasn’t just the climb that changed her life—it was the experience afterward that truly transformed her.
After the climb, Tanya visited a local orphanage in Tanzania, where she delivered food, books, and other essential supplies to the children. Seeing their faces light up, hearing their laughter, and feeling their joy in such humble conditions moved her deeply. She realized that this was where her heart belonged—helping these children, ensuring they had the love, care, and opportunities they deserved.
Tanya returned home to France, but part of her heart stayed in Tanzania. She knew that this was not the end of her journey—it was the beginning of something much bigger. And so, Tanya’s Angels was born.
Supporting Local Orphanages
We partner with local orphanages in Tanzania to provide much-needed resources such as food, school supplies, and hygiene products. By directly addressing their day-to-day needs, we ensure that the children are able to focus on what truly matters—learning, growing, and playing.
Education for a Brighter Future
Education is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that every child, no matter their background, deserves access to quality education. Through scholarships, school sponsorships, and the provision of materials, we help pave the way for these children to reach their full potential.
Healthcare and Well-being
We work to provide healthcare support to the children, ensuring they receive medical checkups, treatments, and vaccinations. We also focus on mental and emotional well-being, knowing that a child’s health goes beyond just the physical.
Community Empowerment
At Tanya’s Angels, we believe that lasting change can only happen when entire communities are empowered. By supporting local economies and working closely with community leaders, we strive to create sustainable solutions that benefit not only the children but also their families and villages.
