We are a small charity, and we pride ourselves on offering a personal experience while doing our utmost for the children we support. Sponsoring a child is a serious commitment, and we encourage our sponsors—whether individuals, families, or companies—to take on the challenge of supporting a child throughout their primary, secondary, and possibly even higher education.

We believe that sponsors want to see long-term changes in children’s lives. Sponsorship is not just financial support but also a commitment of friendship and care for the child. However, we understand that circumstances can change, and what matters most is that you care enough to give your best.

Our Unique Approach

Unlike other organizations, we tailor the relationship between sponsors and children based on the child’s age:

Children up to 10 years old: These children are not asked to write to their sponsors, and they are not made aware they are being sponsored. However, you will still receive photos and updates about their progress.

Children aged 11 and older: From this age, children are more actively involved in the sponsorship relationship, writing letters, and participating more directly.

Sponsorship Costs

We offer three sponsorship plans based on the child’s age and educational needs:

• Plan 1: For children aged 10 and under
• $80 per year for primary education.
• Plan 2: For children aged 11+ in primary education
• $100 per year for primary education and full living costs.
• Plan 3: For children in secondary education
• $200 per year for up to 4 years of secondary or college education, covering living costs during term times at a Government Secondary School.

Our Commitment to You

As a sponsor, you will receive:

• Photos and information about your sponsored child.
• Up to 3 updates a year, including letters from your child, school reports, and additional photos.
• Regular blogs and newsletters to keep you informed about the progress of all the children, so you can see the impact of your support.

Your Commitment as a Sponsor

In return, we ask that you:

• Make your payment regularly through a standing order.
• Write a couple of letters to your sponsored child or student each year. Or even come and visit them.
• Follow our sponsoring guidelines to ensure a positive and meaningful experience for both you and the child.

Safeguarding and Protection

As a child-focused organization, we have a strict safeguarding policy to ensure the privacy and protection of the children. This policy will be provided with the application form for your review and acceptance. Additionally, our welcome pack includes guidance on letter writing, visits, and gift-giving to help you feel confident in your role as a sponsor and protector of the child’s wellbeing.
